By far the best tents in the region, they are not make-believe ones but actually made of canvas, except for one internal bathroom wall. Fairly large, with over 10,000 sq. ft. of the private area outside the tent itself, it has a lawn, a bonfire platform, and a swing, making it more luxurious.
Big ‘ROCKS’ have always evoked mystical feelings and a sense of adventure!! To cater to these natural instincts, we have created an extremely primitive room, carved inside a huge ‘created’ rock. It is packed with modern comforts and interiors fit to match mythological imagery, including the gold effect and subdued lighting.

We have all read Fairy Tales! An image from childhood stayed on in the subconscious mind and manifested itself in the form of this awesome creation! It certainly has a dream-like quality hence it is no wonder that it has become a favorite with honeymooners!
Enter into a well-hidden door at the bottom and climb a spiral staircase of this huge tree trunk, to reach 30 feet above the ground. You do feel ‘On-top-of-the-world’.

The rooms are made of 18” thick mud walls. The roof is 15’ to 20’ high with ‘kavelu’ tiles. We promise you a totally new experience.
Monarch’s Nape as the name suggests is the highest category room at Tathastu! It offers a fantastic view of a thick bamboo plantation on one side, with decent chances of bird sightings, especially in summer, and in the front, it offers a grand view of the activity lawn and lake.
The front veranda is a delightful place to sit early mornings and late evenings and it also offers a great view of our busy reception front. A separate TV room, small kitchen, and dining area complete this very functional unit. Away from the rest of the resort rooms, this cozily tucked away adobe is best for guests looking for privacy and individual attention.
